Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Dokolo handles information when you use the editor, generate PDFs, and browse this site.
Service Data and Requests
Most document fields you enter are handled in your browser. When you generate a PDF, the document payload is sent to our server only for generation and download flow. We also use an anonymous cookie and request metadata such as IP address to apply daily usage limits and protect service stability.
Form Data Handling
Form data such as recipient details, amounts, notes, and issuer information is edited locally in the browser. If draft restore is enabled, some fields can remain in browser storage until they are overwritten, cleared, or the feature is turned off. Uploaded stamp image files are excluded from local draft storage. Because Dokolo has no user account storage, we cannot reopen your document from our side.
PDF Generation
When you generate a PDF, your document data is temporarily processed on our server to render the file or prepare a download URL. We do not provide account-based document storage, and the normal generation flow is not designed to keep your document contents after processing.
Local Storage and Device Data
Dokolo uses local storage in your browser for editor preferences such as theme, zoom, and draft-restore settings. Depending on your settings, the latest draft for each document type may also be saved locally on the same device and browser. This local data stays on your device unless you clear your browser storage.
Cookies and Third-Party Services
Dokolo uses Microsoft Clarity to understand product usage and improvement opportunities. That service may process data under Microsoft's privacy terms. Separately, Dokolo sets an HTTP-only anonymous cookie used for rate limiting and fair use control, not for advertising.
Security
Connections to Dokolo use HTTPS. Document payloads are validated during PDF generation, and the normal service flow is designed to avoid routine persistent storage of document contents on our servers. No online service can promise absolute security, so please avoid entering information you would not want processed for document creation.
